泛素羧基末端水解酶7，又稱泛素硫酯酶7、皰疹病毒相關泛素特異性蛋白酶、泛素特異性加工蛋白酶7、USP7和HAUSP，是一種廣泛表達的蛋白質，屬於肽酶C19家族。 USP7 是去泛素化酶家族的成員。它參與調節壓力反應途徑、表觀遺傳沉默和 DNA 病毒感染的進展。 USP7 是一種具有半胱氨酸肽酶核心以及蛋白質-蛋白質相互作用所需的 N 端和 C 端結構域的蛋白質。 USP7 有助於 Polycomb (Pc) 對同源基因的表觀遺傳沉默。 USP7 切割泛素融合蛋白底物。它使 TP53/p53 和 MDM2 去泛素化，即使在存在過量 MDM2 的情況下也能強力穩定 TP53。 USP7 也誘導 TP53 依賴性細胞生長抑制和細胞凋亡。 USP7 在 p53 通路中發揮關鍵作用，透過穩定 p53 和 MDM2。單純皰疹病毒 1 型 (HSV-1) 調節蛋白 ICP0 刺激溶解性感染和靜止病毒基因組的再活化。 ICP0 與 USP7 相互作用非常強烈。在 HSV-1 感染過程中，USP7 介導的 ICP0 穩定作用優於 ICP0 誘導的 USP7 降解作用。 ICP0-USP7 交互作用的生物學意義可能在自然感染情況下最為明顯，因為在這種情況下 ICP0 的表達量有限。
