神經元生長調節劑 1，NEGR1，也稱為神經牽引素或 KILON，屬於免疫球蛋白超家族，IgLON 家族。這種 GPI 連接的細胞表面糖蛋白 NEGR1 由三個 Ig 樣結構域組成，屬於神經 IgSF 成員的 IgLON 亞群。它以兩種亞型表達，表觀分子量分別為 50 和 37 kD，分別稱為 L 型和 S 型。 NEGR1/Neurotractin 參與調節發育大腦中的神經突生長，並在原代海馬神經元的神經突上表現。 Neurotractin/KILON 是一種跨神經生長促進因子，可促進海馬失神經支配後軸突的生長。 KILON（IgLON 的家族）和阿片類結合細胞黏附分子與邊緣系統相關膜蛋白和神經營養因子一起屬於免疫球蛋白超家族的 IgLON 亞群。在神經元培養發育過程中，KILON/NEGR1 對樹突狀突觸數量的調節功能改變，同時其定位和去垢劑溶解度也改變。除了報告的在大腦中的作用外，NEGR1 還在皮下脂肪組織中表達，並充當肥胖相關轉錄網絡的中心「樞紐」。
